The Changing Of The Guard

Just wrapped up the artwork for Starflyer 59’s 12th album, “The Changing Of The Guard.” The music, as always, is incredible… and it’s always refreshing to work with Jason Martin, a guy who truly “gets it.”

so you guys ARE behind this artwork!? i was wondering.

Tooth & Nail took forever to release any info on this album, with only 2 weeks til release, it’s good to see you guys are still working on SF59’s stuff. and it’s also good to know it is good – not that i’d ever doubt it.

it’s interesting to me how minimal and completely different this is to all their other stuff. care to share any insight into the process of this one?

Love the cover. I want this album YESTERDAY… can’t wait! To me, minus the last couple, most SF59 album covers are the epitome minimalistic. Well done!

I’m really digging the whole Art Nouveau/Vienna Secession vibe here. Can’t wait to show my History of Graphic Design students this fall that you can really get some cool things from historical references!
